Sophie Marren, recently divorced and struggling to make ends meet with an eclectic assortment of temp jobs, is living on her only asset and has no other affordable options. Attraction sparks between them from their first hilarious encounter, and as Sophie and Jacob have both sworn off love, they see no problem with enjoying each other. Since they have agreed they won't fall in love, there's no danger at all.
